Ashlee Shan Li

I am a PhD candidate in the Joint Program of Economics and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University.

My research interests include Applied Microeconomics, Labor Economics, and Business Economics, with a special focus on international immigration, public policy, and firm strategy.

Prior to the doctoral program, I was a government economist at the Ministry of Trade and Industry (Singapore), conducting research and producing GDP forecasts for the trade and transportation sectors.

I am on the 2020-21 Job Market and will be available for virtual interviews at the ASSA and EEA meetings.
